Outcome Owl Privacy Policy
Last updated: Feb 1st 2025
1. Introduction
Outcome Owl (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we store and use it, and your rights under applicable laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
2. Data Collection and Storage
• Data You Provide: We collect personal data (e.g. name, email address, and other details you voluntarily provide) solely for creating and maintaining your account and supporting our service.
• Data Storage: We securely store your data using Supabase and Amazon Web Services (AWS), both of which are GDPR-compliant. We maintain contractual safeguards with these providers to ensure your data is protected.
• No Further Use: Your data is used only for maintaining your account and, in anonymized form, for analytics to help improve Outcome Owl. We do not use your personal data for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.
3. Analytics
• We may use anonymized and aggregated data for analytical purposes to identify trends and improve Outcome Owl.
• Because the analytics data is anonymized, no personally identifiable information is used, and no additional consent beyond your acceptance of this Privacy Policy is required.
4. Lawful Basis for Processing
• We process your data based on your consent (as provided by agreeing to this Privacy Policy during registration) and/or as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations.
5. Compliance with Regional Regulations
• EU Users: Outcome Owl complies with GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability.
• California Residents: If you are a California resident, Outcome Owl also complies with the CCPA. You have the right to request information about the personal data we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt-out of the sale of your personal information. (Note: Outcome Owl does not sell your personal data.)
6. Data Retention
• We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our service or as required by applicable law. You may request that your data be deleted at any time.
7. Data Security
• We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures—including encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure provided by AWS and Supabase—to protect your data against unauthorized access or disclosure.
8. Your Rights
Under applicable laws, you have the right to:
• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Rectification: Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data.
• Data Portability: Request your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time (this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before your withdrawal).
To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@capps.tech.
9. Third-Party Processors
• We use Supabase and AWS as our data storage providers. Both are committed to GDPR compliance, and we ensure that any third-party services we use meet the necessary data protection standards.
• We do not share your personal data with any other third parties for purposes beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
• We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via the app, and the updated policy will be posted on our website.
